Animal Healings - * Gentle * Effective * Powerful *

My previous 12-year career was that of a veterinary technician where we tended to farm and companion animals in a small community in western Washington State. Of course, after that many years....I saw an awful lot of pain and heartache, but on the other hand I also witnessed some remarkable and inspiring healings of both animal and human and the bonding that is created between the two.

I also had the great opportunity to be part of the staff at Wolf Haven Int'l in Tenino, WA where they provide wolf sanctuary, wolf education and conservation. It was such a great honor and such a spiritual experience to be up-close and personal with these magnificent animals and to be able to offer Energy Therapy to many of our resident wolves. I am currently a volunteer for Wolf Haven, Int'l since I am now living in my birth land of Colorado.

While a staff member at Wolf Haven, I was very fortunate to be able to complete a 3-day intensive training in "Wildlife Handling and Chemical Immobilization Techniques" presented by Mark Johnson, DVM hosted by Wolf Haven, Int'l. www.WildlifeResources.org

Training included in-depth knowledge of the different types of immobilizing drugs for wildlife, drug calculations and training in the three types of guns used to dart and immobilize wild animals in order to treat them or gather data. Hands-on experience with the guns and then actually immobilizing several of the wolves that needed veterinary care was conducted. We drew blood, gave vaccinations, took TPRs (temperature-pulse-respirations) and collected other pertinent data on each wolf.

After receiving my Reiki II certification over a decade ago, I joined a few other Reiki practitioners in treating the elephants at Pt. Defiance Zoo. Three of the elephants had each previously killed at least one of their trainers due to brutal torture treatments inflicted upon these gentle giants by their very own keepers over many years.

Their lives had been spared thankfully, rather than being euthanized, however their living quarters were woefully inadequate, as is typical living in a zoo.

They all suffered deeply from what they now recognize as PTSD--Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. However, at that time experts diagnosed the elephants as having "autism" due to their brutal, tortured past.

It was amazing to see how beautifully these elephants responded to this energy work even though we were unable to physically touch these gorgeous giants with our hands---however, our only physical barrier was the plexiglass of the elephant house. Energy travels beyond all realms without boundaries...as does love and prayer.

Their body language and posturing would change remarkably after just a few minutes of being treated with Reiki energy. I also witnessed these changes in every wolf I treated and I am almost certain I created a wolf "Reiki Junkie" in one of them :)

I have no doubt that these animals benefited from my treatments. It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I can provide such healing to all of God's creatures.
